Darjeeling Limited? Not Quite

The United States-India Educational Fund is all about giving us the opportunity to experience new things within the culture we're visiting.  So, they wanted us to travel by train at least once while in India. It was an interesting experience.  Actually, it was better than I imagined.
Although, we were given sleeping cabins on the train, it was pretty hard to do.  The train jiggles around a lot, but the bathrooms were clean and that was a plus.  I think the most entertaining part of the entire train ride was watching our guide, Gagan, negotiate a price to have a group of men carry 21 pieces of luggage for 15 Americans once we had arrived in Varanasi.  Take a look at the picture below.
